Sound Wall at Donna Louise Hospice Garden

I promised some photos of the Sound Wall we installed at the Donna Louise Hospice 'Tree Tops' in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent.

The new sensory garden in which the sound wall sits, was official opened by the Heslop family from Fenton in Stoke-on-Trent and Matthew Wilson who is now chairman of the Greenfingers Charity who played a great part in the creation of the garden helped by Honda uk Lawn and Garden, Veolia Enviromental Services and Staffordshire County Council Aim High for Disabled Children Programme

Shaun and I were at the official opening event representing echomap, demonstrating the wall and discussing the various applications of our interactive installations. We were quite pleased with the interest we received from guests and parents who were amazed at the soundscapes that can be created by the installation.

We have since received excellent feed back from the Hospice who are only just beginning to learn about the potential application of the Sound Wall and its ability to surprise and entertain as well as being a therapy aid for the children attending the Hospice.
